Rates for Advertising in Both Magazines Booking Form
The Fine Print
1. Payment for each issue is due STRICTLY IN ADVANCE by the booking deadline by EFT or direct deposit, failing which a debit order becomes mandatory. Payment for Website and Newsletter advertising is due STRICTLY IN ADVANCE IN FULL prior to your advert going live.
2. Mum's Mail reserves the right to cancel any advertising placed should payment/an authorised debit order form not be received by the booking deadline.
3. Rates are subject to change without notice annual rate increase takes place 1 January 2013, regardless of the contracted 2012 rate - the percentage discount will still apply but will be calculated off the new rate). 4. Cancellations of bookings and changes to contracts will only be accepted if submitted in writing 3 days prior to the booking deadline for that month refer to page 2 of the 2012 Direct Rate Card for dates). 5. Cancellations received verbally or less than 3 days prior to the booking deadline will be liable for full payment.
6. If the contract is cancelled before completion, a 20% surcharge will apply on the balance of the contract.
7. Mum's Mail reserves the right to charge interest on overdue invoices.
8. Mum's Mail reserves the right to charge a fee for rejected debit order payments.
9. Mum's Mail reserves the right to design artwork on behalf of the client if the artwork is not supplied by the deadline.
10. A maximum of three proofs will be provided at no charge - thereafter a fee will be charged per additional proof.
11.Although Mum's Mail endeavours to accommodate all advertisers' position requests, placement on specific pages and positions is not guaranteed, unless agreed to in writing by the Editor, and Mum's Mail reserves the right to charge a loading in the event an advertiser requires a guaranteed position.
12. Mum's Mail will not be liable for any loss or damage consequential or otherwise occasioned by error, late publication or the failure of an advertisement to appear from any cause whatsoever.
13. The Advertiser hereby indemnifies Mum's Mail against any damage and/or loss which Mum's Mail may incur as a direct or indirect consequence of the Advertiser's advertisement.
14. The Advertiser will be responsible for the insurance of all artwork and other advertisement material delivered by him/her to Mum's Mail, and Mum's Mail does not accept liability for any
loss or damage for any cause whatsoever.
15. All colour reproductions will be undertaken with printer's standard colours, and exact colour reproduction is not guaranteed.
16. In the event of an advertisement not appearing by reason of the fault of Mum's Mail, the
advertisement will be published in the following month's issue.
17. The charges and rates for advertising are set out on the Direct Rate Card, a copy of which the Advertiser accepts as read and understood.
