AT THE CATALINA THEATRE, WILSON’S WHARF FROM 27 NOV – 31 DEC: This brand new festive show penned by Themi Venturas in the style of “The Compleat Wrks of Wlm Shkspr” sets out to celebrate the unique history of the town discovered on Christmas day by Vasco da Gama, who on his voyages away from his nagging wife and a persistent taxman brought him to name Porto Natalia which grew up to become Durban.

The irreverent potted history will seek to tell the stories behind the historical facts, lightly peppered with occasional ditties, parodies and traditional songs from the City’s earliest history to today. Festive fun, laughter, and a generous dollop of self mockery will be the order of the day.
